DA CAVE OF DA DIRT BADIES

Wow, what an evening. Tonight brought me great pain and even greater joy. The great leader Xnath, Zog the Orc Lord, and I travelled to Shame tonight for adventure.

As we travelled to the cave, we knew it would be an eventful night. Before we even set foot into the dark caves, we were attacked by two air elementals (maybe one, but not sure) and other foul beasts. We made it to the entrance and Xnath and Zog drank the seeing potions. I did not because they are so foul tasting. Luckily, I can see in the dark. I was dropped on my head at birth and it seems that seeing in the dark was the side affect. I drop all my runties on the head that me and the mate have. Hope it works for them.

Anyway, we got into the cave and we begin our slaughter of the bad creatures. I was the official score keeper. Sometimes, I forget to scratch a kill into my armor, but I think we clobbered about 25 before we began our descent into the lower levels. We used the krimp very well! We also watched the healies. Xnath was such a great fighter, that he kept the beast off guard and the often they only scratched us. Zog had the uncanny ability of getting the last hit in almost everytime. We gathered many gems for the clan.

Tiring of the earth monsters (it soon became as easy as clomping a gruntie that is getting out of line), we decided to go further into the depths of the cave. We made our way down, fighting all the four elements (earth, wind, water, fire) until we came to the fourth level. This is where the nighmare began...

We met a humun that said there were Blood Elementals on this level. Not having the fear that I would later learn, I eagerly wanted to match my skills with them. I am a great and powerful orc! I am the Fang of Kor! Nothing can stop me! What a dumb gruntie I am. We cornered one and tried to fell the foul beast. Zog on one side, Xnath on the other, and me in the middle. The human was helping too. Magic seems to work well against this beast, but alas, we had only our trusty weapons. Of course, all went awry.

Zog fell first. I was soon to follow, Xnath barely escaped. Magic humans came in and finsihed the creature. They then rezzed us. I tried to collect my things, but some human got the loot bag and disappeared. Oh well. Sorry King. I stood there fresh from the jaws of death. A human ran past me. I turned to see what I will forever see in my nightmares! Another Blood Creature. I stumbled into it. It came at me. I would like to say that I fought the good fight. But, no. Zog and Xnath were at my side. They tried to heal me as did the humans, But the fury of the elemental was not be be denied.

I think they heard me say earlier that they were scared of us orcs. I said this sometime before when all was quiet. Let me tell you, they were not scared. Again I died. For the second time. I was rezed and I did not hesitate to say that I wanted to leave. Enough of this! We made our way out.

We came to the 2nd level I believe. A magic gate appeared. Out came five humans. Xnath got pushed through somehow and the gate disappeared. Zog and I asked the humans if they would gate us. One human was trying to provoke us. We ignored him. And then, without any warning, one attacked me. Another then attacked Zog. He was trying to get his armor on and they caught him with his pants down. I slammmed my maul into the human's head. It was a mighty blow indeed. All the while, I began the use of the bandages to heal any damage done me. But the strength of Da'Nogra was in me. The human hardly scratched me. I counted five magic heals on him by his comrades and still I beat him down! It was glorious.

Unfortunately, Zog fell. That human started his attack on me. I beat him back. Then some other humans came to our rescue. They quickly chased the attackers away. They rezzed Zog and then opened a gate for us back to Yew. Before we left, one of the human attackers accused us of starting the fight. Funny how they were the ones that were grey.

Before I left, I had the distinct pleasure of looting the human that I clobbered. I got his scrolls and his runes, and his Short Spear of Vanquishing!

HAR HAR!

I also saw his pathetic wailing ghost crying out to get rezzed! That image will be in my sweat dreams. Hope it helps me sleep after the nighmare of the Blood Demon.

That is my tale. Xnath and Zog are true warriors! I eagerly await our next adventure!
