As many know, Kor has been scouring the land for a black dye tub. Humies will not give these up eazily, and the few that do, want to become rich. Having heard of Kor's quest, a humie who recognizes the Orc's claim to the Land of Kor, came by and offered to sell a tub. Kor thought it was a humie trick. The humie wanted very few shinies for the tub. Kor was ready to clomp the humie, but once the trade was completed, and Kor successfully dyed some healies, Kor knew the humie to be genuine. Kor announced that the humie was to be a chummer of the clan.

The Orcs of Kor have collapsed the old wooden War Shack and have built a Grunt Shack in its place. All new and low ranked orcs will be friended to this place. There are two chests on the bottom level for storage of 'basic orc necessities'. Anything an orc would not use, should NOT be stored in it.

The upper level will be used for storing ringmail armor and will be used for strongboxes for high ranked orc warriors and mages. The shack is equiped with all the amenities required for orc life. (Forge, Anvil, Loom and Spinning Wheel).

If you have not yet been friended there, just ask Kor or Varug to friend you there.

As is becomming common at the fort, yet another urk assault was launched. Grey skinned urk scouts led the raid, as hundreds of urks followed. Once again the urk troops were defeated, but their leader has yet to show his face or issue any statements. Kor's scouts continue to scour the land, looking for any signs as to where the urk headquarters might be.

Today, Varug led a patrol into the old lands. While monitoring urk activity in the old lands, an Orc Scout found an odd cave, close to some big screaching, chicken-lizard creatures. The scout noticed that the critters freely walked in and out of the cave, which spanned between Sosaria and the Old Lands. This was most odd, as normally the creatures were frightened of Sosaria and would refuse to go.

Acting quickly on the scout's report, Varug lead a patrol into the Old Lands and captured many creatures, which Keng Kor has called, "Skri'churz".

The pen in the fort was quickly stocked with the beasts, and soon most every orc had tried their hand at riding one.

The few orcs that could mount the Skri's, quickly fell off. A few orcs managed to stay on for a few moments before they were bucked off. It seems it will take the orcs awhile to get used to riding a beast, but soon those 'tupid humies' and 'elbzies' that come for their quick ride-by-raids, will find themselves no longer being able to run away.
